Research

My research historically has focussed on spine mechanics. I am particularly interested in how some people control their muscle recruitment to prevent injury and how this relates to stability in the spine. Part of understanding this involves looking at how these skills evolve, if at all. More recently I have focussed understanding how to prevent and treat concussions.
