Environmental Earth Science Program
Polyphemus Caterpillar, blown out of a birch tree during the wind storm of August 2006, a freak storm that blew down thousands of trees from Manitoulin Island to Mattawa on the Ottawa River - a very real connection between weather, climate change, and the living world. The world is an interconnected web... rocks, soil, water, the living - plant and animal alike, all are interlinked.  Learn about the breadth and depth of the world in which you live.  Prepare yourself for a career that makes the connections.

The Environmental Earth Science program combines courses from geology, biology, geography, and chemistry with enough flexibility to allow students to emphasize those subjects that most interest them.  Graduates are well prepared for careers with consulting companies, government agencies, and industries requiring environmental or environmental geoscience expertise.  The program also provides a solid academic base for future graduate studies.
