Welcome to the Department of Biology, one of six departments in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Laurentian University. We are a medium-sized Department consisting of nineteen full-time professors, six technologists, and a number of adjunct and other affiliated professors.
Programs are offered in English and French at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Notice to students:
Biomedical Biology students who are in their last year of study and who have not yet taken BIOL 3025 - Microbiology (not offered this year 2011-2012) are asked to complete BIOL 2111 - Principles of Microbiology and BIOL 3117 - Infectious Diseases as a substitute. Please register for these courses asap.
