The Specialization in Biomedical Biology provides courses that give students a strong background in the disciplines within Biology that are relevant to medicine. Graduates of this human biology-based specialization are well prepared for:

This specialization includes courses in human anatomy and physiology, cell biology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, histology and embryology. As well, students can choose elective courses from the Social Sciences or Humanities, and from other disciplines.

Please note that the requirements for an Honours B.Sc. in this specialization is 70% in the best 60 Biomedical BIOL credits.

Counselling Form (pdf file to be printed out and completed prior to meeting with the option advisor!)

Application for Graduation - Instructions to complete the form are given here. (pdf).
