Applicants from other Ontario universities

In an effort to facilitate the completion of programs by undergraduate students wishing to transfer course credits from one Ontario university to another, institutions that belong to the Council of Ontario Universities have adopted the following guidelines:

Acceptance of transfer credits from Ontario universities is based on the recognition that, while learning experiences may differ in a variety of ways, their substance may be essentially equivalent in terms of their content and rigour. Insofar as possible, acceptance of transfer shall allow for the maximum recognition of previous learning experience in university-level courses.

Subject to degree, grade and program requirements, any course offered for credit by one university will be accepted for credit by another Ontario university when there is essential equivalency in course content.

Enrolment:  Only a limited number of students are admitted to first-year. Applicants who meet the minimum entrance requirements are not guaranteed admission.
